My 4 yr old daughter received this from an anonymous relative at a family christmas party. Since I didn't know who it was from, I had to hide my shock as I discovered what this doll sings! I'm shocked that no other reviews mention the two songs this doll sings over and over with a classic Angelica attitude. One is "I am the Coolest", and the other is "I Look So Good". Before doing her makeup, she sings "I am the coolest, everybody knows it, lets get stylin so I can show it. I am the best I never miss a beat, once I have my makeup my look will be complete..." After her makeup is done, she sings "I look so good, like I knew I would, my makeup is great, I always look first rate, I look so fine, no one can outshine ME." After a few moments with no activity, she announces with a HUGE attitude "Hello, I'm READY." My 2-yr-old now parades around mimicing this unbelievably rude doll. I see this as worse than Bratz, because in addition to the attitude, her clothes are inappropriate for this age group, with a belly baring top and a skirt with a sheer inset all the way up to the hip. The only reason I gave it two stars is beacuse the makeup is actually pretty neat and my 4-yr-old loves it. I haven't taken it away yet... but if I start to see this attitude from my kids it's GONE!

My 5.5 year old daughter received this from Santa 2005. After literally 2 minutes of play, she said "this is boring, it doesn't do anything". The price is high for $34.99. It comes with a pair of shoes & a comb. After changing the color on the eyelids & mouth a few times, that's it. The additional outfits are pricey at $9.99 each & hard to find. We returned this for Littlest Pet Shop. As others have said - the face does look weird.
My 2 1/2yr. old daughter wanted this doll so bad that she carried around a catalog that had this doll in it for about a week! I had already finished my Xmas shopping and thought this doll was a little too like the Bratz (which I don't allow her to have) that I was not going to spend $35 on it. Well I decided that I should check out a popular online auction site (starts with an E, ends in bay) and found it for $10 (shipping and all!). I am soo glad I got this doll as it is my daughter's favorite Xmas present! It is easy to use and fun to play with. I even had some fun with it! I recommend this for 2 and up (since my 1 1/2yr. old doesn't get it) and any child who loves to play with make up but makes a mess up it. Fun, fun, fun!!
My daughter (7)saw the commercial for this and wanted it right away. She doesn't think it looks like Angelica, but she loves that it's makeup and that she can make the light colors on the doll magically change to whatever she wants them to be! To her, it's truly magical. If you like Angelica then the singing won't bother you too much. I give it a 5 because the light part is really cool. I even like to play with it!
