We had this installed above an LCD tv which is hung on a sunroom wall. It looks good and keeps the cable box up out of the way and the cords are hidden. It needs to be installed into a stud so you need to be aware of that. We are very pleased.

We purchased two of these wall mount shelves to support the components under the Plasma. The problem is side by side mounted into the 16 inch center studs they do not allow the components to set properly. One 10 inch by 4 foot glass shelve across the mounts gives you a very nice modern looking component shelve. Worked out great. They might work better as a stack if you have the room and your plasma is high enough.
