Yes this set of games is addictive. It is great for all ages and will keep you up playing all hours of the night!

For those who have not played Yahtzee:
The goal is simple a player rolls 5 dice (three consecutive times) to develop a "hand" based on poker rules. For instance, three 6's = 18 points or 1,2,3,4,5 = Full Straight. In each attempt you get to choose which dice to keep or put back in the cup for another roll. The wonderful thing about Yahtzee is that even though it is a game of playing the odds, luck plays an enormous part in this game, thus even a new person can destroy an experienced player with just a little luck.

You will love this game because it is more than you have ever played before. There is the original game, plus 4 modifications.
Yahtzee - the classic version
Triple Yahtzee - Essentially 3 cards of Yahtzee on one card, with multipliers (1x, 2x, 3x)
Painted Yahtzee - A mix of colors and numbers are used here.
Battle Yahtzee - After your rolls, your opponent gets to roll INTO your dice!!!

This game has provided me and my wife with a great deal of fun. It is a nice break and is a GREAT game for traveling. The sounds are excellent, the music is not terribly annoying, and the 5 different types of play keep things fresh, so you don't get burnt out too soon.

This is one of the best values out there, period.

Please don't buy this game if you hate Yahtzee. I'm not saying it's for everyone. I never play games like this, such as Solitare or Minesweeper (et al.), and I'm not some boring shut-in who plays "The Game of Life" with church-friends on Friday nights, but I couldn't stop playing once I got the CD in my drive.
The other versions of Yahtzee are fun and challenging as well. Even the simplicity of Triple Yahtzee adds a great amount of depth and strategy to the game.

This is one of the best board games for PC. The music is great (it also plays on your CD player) and graphics are good too. It is really fun to play by yourself, or with other players or the computer. You can buy this great game at great price right here at amazon!

OK, this is by far the best PC version of yahtzee you will ever find! No doubt about that. There are 5 versions and they don't even make you put in the CD to play the original classic version. On the other hand, I don't recommend buying it unless you are a big Yahtzee fan cuz you might get bored. I enjoy it a lot. :)

I was under the impression that this was a new game in a Jewel Case. When I received it, the game was in a CD Paper Sleeve. Other than this, the game works great and I have had no problems with it. Thanks.

This is a great game that I enjoy very much. Howerever, since it is compatible with only Windows 95 & 98, I have been unable to update my software if I want to keep playing it. I would appreciate it sooooooooooo much if you would acquire an updated version so that I can bring my system into the 21st century! I have tried to install it on a computer with a newer operating system and it does not work. Thanks for a great game. I hope I can continue to play it.

This game has been an absolutely wonderful addition to my collection of games (nearly 100 and counting!). My wife and I play it whenever we travel...and sometimes just to be able to sit back and be a little competitive.

I was introduced to Yahtzee through Hoyle Board Games. This version is fun and exciting. It includes five different versious of the game. It works well in single or multiple player mode. The instructions were a little vague for some of the versions, but once you play them for a while you get the gist. The colors are great as well as the action. I recommend this for the whole family. Just remember, unlike the Hoyle Board Games program, you will need the CD in the drive to play all the games, except the classic.

I actually wanted to own this game for Uncle Henry's Playhouse, a highly addictive puzzle game. Not only did the game give me that, but it also gave me a few other really enjoyable puzzle games that I can't stop playing. I really wish more people were familiar with this wonderful and addicting game.

This is great. I am a huge fan of Yahtzee and this is even better than the old game, you don't have to keep score, it does it for you

This CD has 5 different Yahtzee games on it. I am partial to Triple Yahtzee. So, that is the only one I play. My sister and I used to play it on normal Yahtzee scorecards, thus having to double and triple our scores, so it's nice to be able to play it on the computer where you never have to add any numbers or waste paper. It's also fun to play alone and just try to beat the high scores, some of which are already programmed in. The only thing I don't like about this CD is that it has music to it. So, if you mute the volume, you can't hear the dice rolling (not important, just fun). But, if I am also watching TV, I don't want to hear the music, which is a little elevator-like. But, besides that, it's a great stress-reliever for me. I play it nearly everyday, at least for a little while.
